POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. was established in 1989 and provides services for design, implementation and consulting in the area of telecommunications and IT systems. The company mostly offers specialised IT system solutions designed for telecommunication operators. The solutions include:

• telecom service billing systems,
• customer service software (specialised CRM type systems),
• billing data processing and analysis systems (specialised systems detecting potential fraud and supporting revenue assurance).

POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. systems use an Oracle database engine. Products developed by POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. operate on UNIX platforms and PC class computers.

PIW POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. is an authorised Sun Microsystems Inc. partner, offering hardware platforms offered by Sun. As part of this partnership, POSTINFO also sells all Sun Microsystems products and offers consulting for the implementation of systems based on this hardware platform. POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. employs specialists trained in the configuration and launch of Sun Microsystems Inc. products.

PIW POSTINFO sp. z o.o. is an authorised partner of Oracle Poland. We have been using Oracle databases for ten years and we use their methodology and tools to build our own systems.

POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. is a company with a known and reliable brand, and capabilities in the following areas:

• Development of specialist software using the following tools: Oracle database (including the newest 9i version), Java (J2SE and J2EE), C++, Matlab scientific calculation package
• Development of software performed according to RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology,
• Development of systems with multilayer architecture.

PIW POSTINFO sp. z o.o. achievements include:

• Design and implementation of a convergent service billing system at NASK - Research and Academic Computer Network - created with the use of an Oracle database. This system is a specialised version of the KERT-O billing system, designed to bill services related with Internet domains. The system is used concurrently by several dozen people. The system is constantly maintained and development work is constantly underway.
• Development and implementation of the SOKx system, designed to support sales for the Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. Business Customer Department. The system supports the work of each customer's account manager, providing access to customer data and allowing to track the workflow of ordered services. The system may be used by several hundred people at the same time. The system uses the most recent Oracle 9i database. Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. plans further development of this system.
• Development of the FRED system to detect potential fraud in the telecom services network, linked to the revenue assurance module. A system like this has been employed at Netia S.A. Using advanced mathematical theory, the system indicates which telephone lines have changed their usage profile. Additionally, by providing various reports, the system can indicate potential holes in the calculation of customer amounts due.



 

POSTINFO Sp. z o.o. employs 22 people. Most of them (17 people) have tertiary, technical or IT education. Two people have a PhD in technical science.
